This Oregon digital clock seems to be a normal projection clock. But look closely, and you will see that it is very different. The projection ball is a unit of its own and can be placed anywhere in the room without the need of the base. You can adjust the sharpness of the projection. And in order to charge the ball, you just put it on the base, where it will automatically synchronise the time as well. Charging and sync take place without physically connecting the ball and the base. Instead a magnetic field does that. Wow!
