InModern Furniture

Are you also getting tired of assembling all your new furniture with thousands of tools and manuals? And the fact that you can't just take your furniture with you everywhere is so annoying! Well InModern is a new company which has designed some new tables (other furniture is on the way) just for you. InModern focuses on designing furniture that is eco-friendly, needs no tools to assemble, and can be folded easily and stored away. Just the right stuff for people who don't have a permanent address, but also for all the people with no skills for assembly and people who store everything after use.

Sony Ericsson W880i

Sony Ericsson will finally be launching its first THIN phone. The W880i is a 9.4mm thin UMTS phone, which has a 2 megapixel camera. It is branded as a walkman, so it will be playing all your mp3s in a really convenient way and you can save them on a micro memory stick (M2). Furthermore it has a full internet browser with RSS support, so that you can fully use the UMTS capabilities. It comes in different colour, I personally like the steel design more, but there is also a black design. Anyhow those candies will be available from March this year.

Sony Vaio G Series (G11)

A new Vaio laptop from Sony. This one is probably the best notebook for business travellers available. Sony has perfected all three requirements of a traveller into this notebook: portability, durability and battery life. The Vaio G11 just weighs 1.12 kg including the battery and Sony made sure that everything is just perfect, so even reduced the size of the charger, which now just weighs 170g. Made out of carbon fibre, you can drop this lappy from 90 cms and it still won't harm it anyway. Furthermore, the battery life has been optimised to run a loooong 9 hours. That is just unbelievable.
The Sony comes with 1.33GHz Intel ULV Core Solo, fingerprint recognition, Dual-DVD drive, 12.1 inch XGA screen, Windows Vista Business and everything you can wish for.
It is available in Japan and from March in Europe.

Virgin Atlantic - New Flights

Virgin Atlantic has just shown its newest flights, which still need permission though. The in-flight program however is just amazing, even for economy. You can watch movies, live tv-shows, play games and the special part: Chat with other people on the plane! 'Hi, I am Bob from Seat 34D and flying to London too!' Another cool feature is the option to order your food and drinks on the screen (although Virgin asks you money for their food/drinks). So no more waiting for the attendance just to order food.
Virgin still needs to get plane permission, so visit their site and sign the petition.

Apple iPhone

It has arrived! The ultimate gadget of the year. The iPhone by Apple (not Cisco). The new iPod/iPhone is said to be three devices in one (Music Player, Phone, Internet Device).
It runs the Apple OS X and hence will be extendable and at the same time quite safe and easily usable. The main features include 4 or 8 GB hard drive, Wi-Fi, 2 megapixel camera, video and music player, touch-screen with latest user interface. But the ultimate asset of the phone is, just like all Apple products, its design and the sleekness (11.6 mm). I think that this phone will revolutionize the phone market totally by the end of this year.
